INTERVENTION Monday 3/7/11 (9:00-10:00) on A&E
A TEEN DRUG ADDICT SOBERS UP AND THEN RELAPSES WHEN HER TWIN DIES OF AN OVERDOSE
“Jamie” – As a teen, Jamie did drugs and abused alcohol to deal with her traumatic upbringing. At 21, she turned to the church and got sober, but then the fatal overdose of her twin sister triggered a relapse. Now Jamie suffers from alcohol-induced pancreatitis and has suicidal tendencies. As Jamie’s family struggles with their own loss, Jamie feels alone in her fight against addiction. Can an intervention bring the family together?
