American Idol will soon be airing the episode the Milwaukee area has been waiting for since the summer auditions. Thousands of American Idol hopefuls lined up outside the Bradley Center on July 21, 2011. Milwaukee native and Season 8 contestant Danny Gokey was on hand to offer his support. He told reporters, “There’s such an artsy vibe here that’s in Milwaukee that is passed up. So it’s cool to see it recognized nationally.” See video previews of the best and worst Milwaukee has to offer.
