A major cable network is casting for a relationship expert to lead a new series about mending family relationships. The series will examine the despair and destruction that problems with In Laws can create within a family.
Similar to the profound A&E docu-drama series “Intervention,” the expert will need to be able to work with families that are on the brink of a breakdown. Over the course of each episode, they will help them to confront their issues head-on and mend these damaged relationships before they are completely destroyed.
We are looking specifically for life coaches, therapists, psychologists or anyone with a strong verifiable background in counseling. We will not be considering applicants that do not meet these credentials.
What we’re looking for:
HOST/EXPERT: Television experience is a plus, but not required. We are not looking for TV veterans with national projects already on the air. Must work as Non-SAG & Non-AFTRA.
CREDIBILITY: A background in some sort of counseling or life coaching is mandatory. Anyone without the appropriate credentials will not be considered.
BIG PERSONALITY: Provocateur – edgy, strong and confrontational, but also real and organic. You need the ability to fuel the fire and call people out on their behavior in an objective way when needed, but also to realize the show isn’t about you.
AGE: Between 32-48 years old.
