INSPIRED BY “THE BIGGEST LOSER,” ‘A DEVOTED FAN OF THE SHOW WHO HAS LOST A STAGGERING 400 POUNDS WILL BE REVEALED LIVE AS HE LOOKS TODAY, PLUS THE ELIMINATED CONTESTANTS RETURN TO THE RANCH TO VIE FOR TWO SPOTS BACK IN THE GAME ON NBC’S “THE BIGGEST LOSER: COUPLES” AIRING TUESDAY, MARCH 30 (8-10 P.M. ET)

UNIVERSAL CITY, California – It’s a must-see episode of “The Biggest Loser: Couples” when a remarkable man, formerly 674 lbs., who was inspired by the show and lost an unfathomable amount of weight on his own at home is revealed live on Tuesday, March 30 (8-10 p.m. ET). And the competition heats up when all of the eliminated players return to the ranch to try and secure a place back in the game.

This week’s compelling episode kicks off with host Alison Sweeney introducing viewers to an incredible “Biggest Loser” fan named Wayne who once weighed 674 lbs. After a near-death experience at a hospital, Wayne was inspired by “The Biggest Loser” and started his own weight loss journey at home, eventually losing 400 lbs. — almost twice as much weight on his own as any contestant in the series’ history. He’ll talk about his extraordinary journey and show how he looks today in a live reveal that viewers will have to see to believe.

Back at the ranch, only nine contestants are left – and they are delighted to hear that they’ll be competing as individuals instead of teams for the remainder of the competition. But they’re surprised to find out that the game just got tougher because all of the eliminated players are back at the ranch, eager to make their way back in the game. And for the first time in “Biggest Loser” history, the player chosen won’t be determined by weight loss, but rather by popular vote. The eliminated contestants weigh in and make emotional personal pleas about why they want and need to return to the ranch.

After that contestant is voted in, the remaining eliminated players get to battle it out for another spot back in the game – going to whoever wins a 1,000 step-ups challenge. Later, a tight friendship starts to unravel, and after a tense weigh-in, two players with a close bond fall below the yellow line and one of them is sent home.
