America’s Next Top Model Season 13
“Hawaiian Hip Hop” ONLY TWO GIRLS LEFT STANDING — The final four girls learn some hip hop hula moves before channeling Pele, the Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes, during this week’s photo shoot. Jay reveals that two girls will be sent home in this week’s elimination. The guest judge is Seventeen Magazine editor-in-chief Ann Shoket. (#1311).
Last week the girls came back from panel and Nicole was upset that she couldn’t celebrate her first call-out because of Brittany’s shocking departure. When Nicole revealed that she was impressed by Sundai’s inner strength, the latter promised to tell the girls her story if she made it to the final four.
The girls were taught about swimsuit shoots by Marisa Miller. They were then taken to a cliff for their challenge – to jump off and look graceful on film with only one shot. Most of the girls performed well and Nicole got rewarded with $6,500 worth of jewelry. She also got to pick which girls would get extra frames, and Erin was left out. Later, they celebrated Laura’s birthday.
At the photo shoot, the girls posed underwater and all but Erin got a second round after being critiqued by Jay. At panel, Nicole and Jennifer were praised, despite the former’s lack of “Barbie toes” and the latter’s lack of angles while Erin made Top Model history by surviving three consecutive bottom two appearances, as Sundai was eliminated but comforted by Tyra who called her a role model.
