Are you constantly worried that one of your parents will embarrass you in front of your friends? Do you dread being seen with them in a social situation? Do you want to crawl under a rock whenever they attend a school function or meet your friends’ parents? Perhaps they participate in activities or dress in a way that is NOT parental. Maybe their behavior is so humiliating that you don’t even want to admit you’re related. If their freakish appearance or lack of proper parental behavior drives a wedge in the relationship you have with your parents, MTV wants to hear from you.
If you live in the Los Angeles area and appear to be between the ages of 16-19, email your name, location, phone number and a recent photo of you and your parent(s) to NewCasting@mtvstaff.com. Please include a description of the circumstances surrounding your story. Participants must be at least 16 years of age.
