LOS ANGELES –AMERICAN IDOL EXTRA captures the intensity of the final days leading up to the “American Idol” Season 8 finale, with Host Jillian Reynolds sitting down for the first in-depth interview with the eliminated “American Idol” contestant. Will it be Kris Allen, Danny Gokey or Adam Lambert going home this week? Amid the excitement backstage, Co-Host Ace Young will chat with Tempestt Bledsoe & Darryl M. Bell of Fox Reality Channel’s new summer original series, “Househusbands of Hollywood.” He will also find out what Babyface, Brian McKnight, Jason Kennedy, Rex Lee and Kelli Williams think about the latest Idol happenings. Additionally, viewers will be treated to a special performance by “American Idol” Season 6 runner-up Blake Lewis.
