April 17th, 2009 · No Comments

Bully Beatdown is a reality television series that airs on MTV. In each episode, bullies are confronted by Jason “Mayhem” Miller and challenged to an upcoming mixed martial arts bout against a professional mixed martial artist for a chance to win $10,000.

Sunday’s episode features MMA fighter Jon “Man of Faith” Murphy fighting a “hip hop douche bag.”

Each “fight” features two three-minutes rounds. The bully starts with $5,000 in each round. In the first round, it’s grappling only, no striking allowed. Every time the bully taps out, he loses $1,000 and it goes straight to the victim(s). In the second round, it’s kickboxing. The bully must survive three minutes in the cage with the MMA fighter. If he can, he wins his $5,000. If he is defeated by way of KO, TKO, or referee decision, he loses all $5,000 and it goes to the victims. However, if the bully can KO the MMA fighter, he wins an additional to the second round $5,000 and whatever he has left from the first round. To date, no bully has lasted the entire first round without losing any money or surviving the entire second round.

Watch this preview clip of MMA fighter Jon “Man of Faith” Murphy taking on a bully this Sunday, April 19 at 9:30pm ET/PT on MTV.
