Wednesday’s Installment Averages Over 1 Million Total Viewers

NEW YORK, NEW YORK /PRNewswire/ — TV Land’s shocking sixth episode of the original series “High School Reunion” averaged over 1 million total viewers for last night’s 10 p.m. telecast making it the most-watched episode of the season to date, according to Nielsen Media Research. The telecast gave TV Land double-digit gains over last week’s airing across the network’s target demo, Adults 25-54, and among the network’s core audience of Adults 40-54.

Wednesday’s episode of “High School Reunion” posted a 0.6/606,000 among A25-54, up +21% in rating and +21% in delivery over last week’s telecast. Among the network’s core A40-54 audience, the episode posted a 0.7/414,000, up +14% in rating and +14% in delivery over last week. It also scored double digit gains among total viewers with over 1 million (1,046,000), up +37% over last week with a median age of 47. Additionally, the telecast posted huge gains with W25-54, scoring a .7/380,000, up a whopping +40% from last week. The episode was up +68% in rating versus the channel’s primetime average.

Season two of “High School Reunion” has been averaging 859,000 total viewers with a median age of 45. Among A25-54, it has been posting a 0.5/531,000 and among A40-54 a 0.6/335,000.

Additionally, traffic to TVLand.com spiked after last night’s new episode of “High School Reunion.” The audience to the site was up 65% at 11pm compared to the same time last week. Overall, traffic to the site was up 27% yesterday, compared to last Wednesday. (Source: Omniture)

In Wednesday’s installment, entitled “What Happens in Hawaii, Stays in Hawaii,” Jessica “The Ugly Duckling” reaches her boiling point in the house and accuses her former best friend Maricela “The Outsider” of being a prostitute leaving the rest of the classmates stunned. New arrival Octavia “The Flirt” challenged Rene “The Goody Goody” to a cheer off and Kara “The Homecoming Queen” confronted ex-husband Tom “The Jock” about a rumored money scheme.

During this season of “High School Reunion,” nineteen classmates from the 1988 graduating class of Arizona’s Chandler High School have been brought together for their own special reunion set on an exotic and romantic Kauai estate to rekindle old relationships, reveal long-held secrets and resolve deep-seated issues from 20 years ago in this eight-part reality series. “High School Reunion” is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television.
