I cannot begin to understand how the likes of Billy Mays can be an inspiration. I detest his style and the YELLING and resent his intrusion into my home. I mute the tv or change channels the very second I hear him and I will never watch this series and I have never bought any products he pushes. I saw him on Leno and he was pushy and obnoxious but spoke in a modulated tone so I was able to stand it. But that over dyed beard and hair is just ridiculous. It's like guys wearing a comb over or a solid color toupee (no grey) when they are in the 60's. Please ! We've been dumbed down enough the past 8 years. Let's raise the bar and give viewers something interesting and entertaining, not ear piercing and blood pressure raising.

This is a concept that has fascinated me for 40 years. I'm in the ad business and these guys are the real McCoy. Its only because of them that I can do my job effectively. They are my inspiration.

If there is a possibility and its not too late, you must check out a guy named BOB STAATS. He is the first real pitchman I ever met and he did it at carnivals. He sold knives, furniture polish and girlie playing cards. Never on TV, but for real. He was the inspiration for the TV guys.

Can't wait to see this show.
