This week on America’s Next Top Model finale the remaining three girls received a Tyra Mail informing them that they would have their CoverGirl commercial the next day. When they arrived, the girls found out that the commercial would happen on a boat traveling through Amsterdam, and that they would have to deliver a “scene-stealing kiss” at the commercial’s end. Samantha’s commercial performance lacked energy, while Analeigh went blank and had to be fed the lines. McKey produced a stunning commercial, and afterwords all the girls had their CoverGirl print shoots with Jim De Yonker.
At panel, McKey received unanimous praise for her CoverGirl commercial, as well as print shoot, with her picture being deemed as the only shot of a “model”. Samantha and Analeigh landed in the bottom two, Analeigh for not working with her face as well as with her body, and for forgetting her lines, and Samantha for looking very commercial in person yet lacking commercial ability on camera. With that, Analeigh is surprisingly sent home, with Tyra assuring her she was a star actress who could book many campaigns. The two remaining girls were immediately sent to their cover try with Seventeen Magazine, and both impressed Ann Shoket.
Samantha and McKey joined Cycle 10 winner, Whitney and Holland’s Next Top Model, Cycle 4 winner Ananda Marchildon, at a whimsical, fairytale-themed fashion show in Amsterdam. Both girls did well and showed consistent walks, although they were both critiqued that they were not as strong as they could have been. Samantha and McKey’s portfolios were reviewed, and the judges noted how much they had improved as models since their first shoot. During deliberation, the judges recognized that both girls had stunning portfolios. McKey’s edgy, high-fashion look in photos, commercial ability and gorgeous strut were acknowledged as well as Samantha’s commercial appeal, yet high fashion pictures. The girls were called back in, and Tyra announced that McKey was the winner of America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 11.
As the winner of The CW’s “America’s Next Top Model,” McKey will be managed by Elite Model Management. She also receives a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl and will appear on the cover and six-page fashion spread in Seventeen magazine.
