CONTESTANTS GET A BLAST FROM THE PAST WITH 80S WEEK

This week, contestants travel back in time to the 1980s, dressing the part and doing 80s style workouts and participating in a special 80s themed challenge.

Lose Big with Jillian Michaels

Meanwhile, two players aren’t speaking to each other, causing friction in the house and with one team in particular. Then an emotional elimination round sends another contestant home. Alison Sweeney is the host, and trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels also star.

Last week Ali announced that there were more Blue Team or Black Team. The competitors will now compete in singles. All of the eliminated contestants returned to the ranch for a chance to stay, which is decided by a step challenge. If the contestants were to come back solely based on weight loss, Phillip would have been the one to come back but it was based on the challenge that determined who would stay and who would go.

The task was simple but difficult. Do 1000 steps up and down, and the first one to do it would come back into the game and win immunity. Ed started off strong and Phillip was right behind. All of a sudden, Stacey got a rush to catch up and beat Phillip. It came down to Ed and Stacey with Ed being about only 3 ahead of Stacey. In the end, Ed won the right to come back getting 1,000 steps while Stacey was at step 987. Everyone commended Stacey for her strong effort.

Jillian pushes her 3 ladies and the only ones left on the black team to an extreme so that they would not lose the weigh in. Ed had immunity and did not try as hard at the “last chance workout” and he ultimately lost 4 pounds. The lowest amount of weight lost was 4 pounds which was from Ed and everyone else lost 6 pounds or more. Brady lost 6 pounds and Michelle lost 6 pounds. Ultimately, it was the total percentage of weight loss that mattered. Brady and Michelle fell under the yellow line and Black knew Michelle would leave.

Ali told everyone that a twist was going to happen and that it never happened before in Biggest Loser history. After the weigh in, they immediately went to the elimination room and had to vote out one member. Renee was emotional and was praying that her daughter would stay. The blue team was confident that Brady would stay based on the numbers but after a conversation with her mom, Amy C learned to make choices for herself and not for the team, ultimately voting for Brady tieing the votes 3 to 3. But since in the event of a tie, the percentage with the lowest weight-loss percentage was automatically eliminated, it was Brady who was left eliminated.

Brady started with a size 48 waist and is now a size 34. He has lost 100 pounds and teaches his children healthy ways of eating and exercising. Brady continues to lose weight and hopes to look skinnier at the finale.
