Show Expands to One-Hour Format With All-New Cast

New York - October 16, 2008 - Oxygen will debut the third season of the network’s hit series “The Bad Girls Club” on Tuesday, December 2 at 10pm ET/PT. The show’s format has been expanded from half-hour to one-hour this cycle, with thirteen new episodes to air through 2009. From Bunim-Murray Productions, the groundbreaking producers of “The Real World,” “The Bad Girls Club” was shot in Los Angeles.

Season three of “The Bad Girls Club” will bring seven new ‘bad girls’ together in a beautiful Los Angeles mansion. These women recognize that their outrageous behavior has hindered their relationships, careers and lives. They have issues with anger, trust and control, and claim they want to change. Will living together help them move forward and turn their lives around - or will chaos rule?

Season two breakout cast member Tanisha, known for her signature phrase “pop off,” has gone on to appear multiple times on “The Tyra Banks Show,” “The Soup” and “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List.”

“The Bad Girls Club” remains one of Oxygen’s most-watched original series, with season two averaging 595,000 P18-49; 439,000 among W18-49; 321,000 among W18-34 and 791,000 total viewers P2+. “The Bad Girls Club” also achieved a network milestone, becoming the first Oxygen original series episode to break the one million-viewer mark (2/19/08).
