A FOURTH COUPLE TO BE ELIMINATED ON “DANCING WITH THE STARS THE RESULTS SHOW,” TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7 ON ABC
Academy Award Winner Jennifer Hudson Performs; Kool and the Gang Bring Back ‘70s Disco; The Rockettes Perform
“Episode 703A” – In a groovy 1970s-themed results show for the upcoming premiere of “Life on Mars”, the fourth couple is sent home, on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
The “Dancing with the Stars” stage is transformed into a disco with Kool and the Gang performing a medley of “Jungle Boogie,” “Ladies Night” and “Celebrate,” accompanied by six disco dancers paying tribute to 1973 and the new drama “Life on Mars,” premiering THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Academy Award-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson will take to the stage, accompanied by professional dancers Julianne and Derek Hough, singing “Spotlight” from her self titled debut album released this week on Arista Records.
In the second “Macy’s Stars of Dance” performance of the season, the world famous Radio City Rockettes bring their signature high kicks and precision choreography to the ballroom. The legendary dance company has dazzled and inspired for more than 75 years as the stars of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Musical Hall in New York City.
By evening’s end one more couple will be eliminated, as determined by a combination of the judges’ scores and viewers’ votes. Who among the following ten teams will leave the ballroom floor?

Viewers may cast their votes for their favorite teams via phone on Monday and Tuesday night during and up to 30 minutes after the “Dancing with the Stars” performance shows. AT&T subscribers may also text message their votes by texting the word “VOTE” and entering the number that corresponds to the team they want to support (standard text message rates apply). Viewers may also vote online at www.abc.com starting from the opening of each episode on the East Coast and until 12:00 Noon, ET the following day.
Hosted by Tom Bergeron (“America’s Funniest Home Videos”) and Samantha Harris (“E! Entertainment”), the celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which are judged by renowned Ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
“Dancing with the Stars” is the U.S. version of the international smash hit series, “Strictly Come Dancing.” This version is produced by BBC Worldwide Americas. Conrad Green serves as executive producer and Rob Wade and Matilda Zoltowski are co-executive producers. Alex Rudzinski directs. “Dancing with the Stars” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1 channel surround sound and Spanish audio via SAP.
