TLC Announces New Series “Over Designed” Hosted by Kenneth Brown

TLC PREMIERES NEW SERIES “OVER DESIGNED”, HOSTED BY KENNETH BROWN, ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2008

Los Angeles, CA TLC will premiere the new series OVER DESIGNED, hosted by design expert Kenneth Brown, on Saturday September 20, 2008, at 8:30 PM ET/PT. In each half-hour episode, Kenneth will visit one overzealous homeowner who has taken a motif to the extreme. Using his celebrated design sensibility, Kenneth will enlist the help from family and friends they will turn these rooms into inviting and livable spaces for the whole family to enjoy, while continuing to honor the nominees passions.

“The series will strive to celebrate each persons unique design sense of style, but will help streamline their look and offer ways to better celebrate their collections,” explains Kenneth.

PALM TREE PARADISE: Premieres 09/20/2008

Patti’s palm tree design obsession has taken over the entire house. Family and friends stage a design intervention for a palm tree-free room. With Kenneth’s design expertise, he transforms two rooms into a resort oasis without palm trees for all to enjoy.

PENGUINS: Premieres 09/27/2008

Marie’s penguin design obsession has taken over her entire life. Her boyfriend Chris stages a design intervention for a penguin free bedroom. With Kenneth’s design expertise, he transforms their bedroom that suits both of their styles.

AFRICAN KING: Premieres 10/04/2008

Tyler’s obsession with all things Africa is taking over his life and bedroom. James, his friend, says Tyler’s addiction is romantically crippling him. With Kenneth’s design expertise, he creates a beautiful oasis that functions as an adult bedroom.

HAWAIIAN: Premieres 10/11/2008

Debbie’s Hawaiian theme obsession has taken over the spare bedroom and her family can’t take it anymore. With Kenneth’s design expertise, the family works to turn the wasted space into a great multi purpose room everyone can enjoy.

    So far, this is just another weak design show. What did stun me, however, was all the plastic surgery Kenneth Brown got. His face is completely different and typical inability to speak normally. He was not old and certainly not old looking, and now his face looks completely unnatural. What happened to aging gracefully and naturally. He looks like a freak.
